In response to today’s announcement, Qcells issued the following statement: “ Qcells’ highly anticipated, integrated supply chain facility in Cartersville, Georgia, has made significant progress. By the end of this year, Qcells will produce the full solar supply chain, from ingot to finished panel, all under one roof in Georgia.
Qcells will construct a new manufacturing facility located at Highland 75 Corporate / Industrial Park, a Georgia Ready for Accelerated Development (GRAD) certified site in Bartow County. The new, state-of-the-art facility will manufacture 3.3 gigawatts of solar ingots, wafers, cells, and finished panels.
